With rising fuel costs you may be considering switching to a more sustainable form of transport that costs you less to run. Mid Sussex District Council has installed three electric vehicle charging points across the region, including one at Cyprus Road Car Park in Burgess Hill.

To use the charging point you need to join the Charge Your Car Scheme which costs £50 a year. You will then have unlimited use of the charging points across West Sussex (20 in total). Eventually, it is hoped there will be a national network of electric vehicle chargers.
To register with the Charge Your Car Scheme, you can visit://www.chargeyourcar.org.uk/ or call 01912 650500. The other charging points in Mid Sussex are the Hazelgrove Road car park in Haywards Heath and Chequer Mead Car Park in East Grinstead.
So will this persuade you to switch to an electric vehicle?
