It's not long to go now until the 3rd Burgess Hill annual Beer Festival. This festival is from 30 September - 1 October and promises to have lots of interesting brews to taste for beer lovers (and wine and cider people too...).

The festival will take place at Martlets Hall in Burgess Hill and there are three sessions which people can choose to attend;

- Fri 30 September 6pm-11pm (£5)

- Sat 1 Oct 12pm-4.30pm (£4)

- Sat 1 Oct 6pm-11pm (£5)

Prices on the door will be £2 more. There will be over 30 Sussex ales as well as ciders, wines and one lager, all of which are locally sourced. There will also be live music on the Saturday night and a hot food bar.

If you're keen to buy tickets, they can be purchased from The Brewers Arms on London Road, the Martlets Box Office or the council's Help Point at Church Walk. To find out more about organisers Beermatt, see here.

So, which Sussex ale is your favourite?

    I'd love to go to this, especially after missing out on the Lewes Beer and Cider Festival after all the booze was drunk by late Saturday afternoon!
