With A-Level results today and GCSE results next week, it's an anxious time for many teenagers and their families. This year, university applications have soared as students try to gain a place before course fees hike.

So, how did students who studied for A-Levels in Burgess Hill do?
St Paul's Catholic College had excellent results with a 99% overall pass rate. 74% of all students at the college gained A*-C grades at A2 level. Sue Homer, Director of Key Stage 5 Achievement at the College said on their website, "We are very
proud of the success of the students this year and wish them well for the next stage
of life. We are also very hopeful for some exceptional results once again in 2012."
The private Burgess Hill School for Girls School also had fantastic results, with a 100% overall pass rate.Overall 84.2% of all A level results were A* to B grades. An impressive 53% of A Level mathematics grades were A* and 68% of all science and mathematics grades were A or A*. You can read about what some of the students have gone on to study here.
