If you didn't get round to entering the Burgess Hill in Bloom Spring Competition, you've been given another opportunity...the Burgess Hill in Bloom Summer Competition has launched and entries are welcomed from every level of gardening ability.

How does your garden grow?
Spring winners included Kiddi Caru Children's Nursery in Burgess Hill and John Ellis from Leylands Road. Burgess Hill in Bloom is a community group helping to make the town an attractive place all round.
There are many categories to choose from for your summer gardening entry, including:
- Best front garden
- Best side/back garden
- Best garden design
- Neighbours in bloom
- Best floral container
- Best vegetable garden
- Best commercial display
- Best shop
- Best pub
You can also nominate a garden for the best nominated garden category if you think there's a special garden that deserves some recognition. There's also the tallest sunflower competition and categories for the best school and community/voluntary projects.
You can read more about the competition and download an application forms here and entrants (except for the sunflower competition) will be given a £5 voucher from Burgess Hill in Bloom's sponsor South Downs Nurseries.
