Not argument about it, definitely the greatest Englishman of all time.

I like this anecdote from "Churchill" by Roy Jenkins:

When Nicholas Soames was about 6 (c.1955), he broke through the valet guard which normally defended Churchill's working room (at Chartwell) and said:

"Grandpapa, is it true you are the greatest man in the world?"
Churchill said:
"Yes, and now ****** off" :-)
