Sun set to continue today in Burgess Hill

It has been an amazingly warm October weekend in Burgess Hill and the fine weather is set to continue today. But...make the most of it because it's due to get cooler from tomorrow onwards with the possibility of rain mid-week, according to BBC weather.

Most of the UK has enjoyed warmth this weekend and the maximum daily temperature record for the whole of the UK in October has been broken. The record has stood since 1985 and was broken over the weekend with a temperature of 29.9C recorded in Gravesend.

So, how have you been enjoying the sun this weekend around Burgess Hill? Have you been exploring local nature reserves and gardens? Testing out the golf driving range in the town? Or perhaps hopping on a train to the coast for a last dip in the sea this year? If you haven't yet had a chance to enjoy some sun, today may be the last of this exceptionally warm weather and all is set to change...

According to BBC weather, it's set to get cooler as the week progresses and temperatures could be down to 14C around Burgess Hill by the end of the week.
