A Service of Remembrance will take place at St John's Church in Burgess Hill
On Remembrance Sunday, a parade will start at 10.35am (meet 10.25am) at Cyprus Hall, Cyprus Road. The parade will continue to the war memorial where a two minute silence will follow the laying of wreaths. A Service of Remembrance will then take place at St John's Church and all are welcome. The parade will then march past the bandstand to salute in the town centre.
A smaller parade will take place on Friday 11th November starting from 96 Church Walk, Burgess Hill at 10.50am and finishing at the war memorial where a two minute silence will be observed.
If anyone would like to donate a poppy to the 'people's wreath'. they can do so at the Council's Help Point on Church Walk. This wreath will then be laid on Armistice Day.
