Mini Autumn Fairtrade Festival in Burgess Hill

Burgess Hill, as many of you will know, is a Fairtrade Town and is hosting a mini Fairtrade Festival from 16th September 2011- 17th September.

The focus of the festival will be on Fairtrade producers but there will also be plenty of entertainment on hand including a
ceilidh and a folk gig.
The fun starts on Friday 16th September...the Martlets Hall will open doors at 7.30pm for an 8.00pm start.
Belshazzar's
Feast's music will provide the evening's entertainment. It starts with
traditional folk music, with a touch of classical and jazz. A bit of vaudeville is also thrown in for good measure. Belshazzar's Feast's music had been nominated for BBC 2 2010 Folk Awards (for best duo).
Sam Carter will also be making an appearance and was the BBC 2 2010 Folk Award winner for
best newcomer.
All in all, a great musical evening and tickets cost £12.00 each or £10.00 for concessions.

Saurday 17th September sees another great night of entertainment at the Martlets Hall, Burgess Hill with a lively ceilidh.Doors open at 7pm and Kate's Kitchen Band will be providing the music to some jigging with caller Whispering Dave. Tickets for this event are £9.50 each or £9.00 each when buying 4 or more.
