The UK's first ever Dementia Community Roadshow has just started touring the UK and will be in Burgess Hill Tesco car park from the 11th-12th October this month.

The roadshow aims to increase awareness about dementia and provide information and advice to those who are interested in finding out about the disease.

Approximately 750,000 people live with some form of dementia in the UK and it is predicted that this figure will reach over 1 million by 2025. It is highlighted that dementia is not a natural part of ageing.

The tour will cover many Tesco car parks across the UK.

This is a good initiative. Dementia is not very well understood but it affects a lot of people as they get older
