Alejandro Fernandez Holt from B Hill reaches Open Mic UK Final at O2

A young Burgess Hill performing talent could be on the way to stardom if he can make it through to the final of the Open Mic Uk competition.

Alejandro Fernandez Holt who is 15 performed live onstage beating many other unsigned musicians to get through both regional and area final heats and is now preparing to perform at the Open Mic UK Grand Final at the world famous IndigO2 arena in London on Janaury 21st in the 16 and under category.

The overall winner of the final will be offered a recording contract, worth up to £30,000 and even more importantly will have the chance to get their talent out to a wider audience with the chance of lasting success.

Just by making the final, Alejandro will have the chance to perform to a big crowd in a huge arena and to prepare for his act in a professional way.

The Open Mic UK competition is also being filmed for broadcasting on Sky TV with a two-part series being broadcast on Sky this month.
